Commission Sets Hearing and Filing Schedule for Georgia Power Company Integrated Resource Plan and for the Atlanta Gas Light Company Rate Case

Setting the first hearing and decision schedules for a busy 2019, the Georgia Public Service Commission today approved the hearing, filing and decision schedule for the Georgia Power 2019 Integrated Resource Plan(IRP) in Dockets 42310 and 42311 and the expected Atlanta Gas Light Company base rate in Docket 42315. All hearings will begin at 9 a.m. in the Commission hearing room, Room 100, 244 Washington Street, S.W. Atlanta, Georgia 30334.

Georgia Public Service Commission Faces Busy and Challenging Case Load in 2019

The Georgia Public Service Commission will face an unprecedented number of major proceedings and rate cases in 2019, beginning with the filing of Georgia Power Company’s Integrated Resource Plan on January 31. Both investor owned utilities, the Georgia Power Company and the Atlanta Gas Light Company, are expected to ask for increases in their base rates.
